Bundaberg North is proud of its excellent IT facilities and services.
Facilities include
- A 30-workstation computer lab including two wireless remote screens.
- A suite of over 130 iPads across all classes P-6.
- Sets of laptop computers in all classes in Years 4-6.
- 8 computers in the library.
- 65-inch interactive whiteboards in all classes.
- A specialist IT class with 30 laptop computers.
- Complete site Wi-Fi coverage.
These facilities are well used by all year levels and readily available.
The computer lab is accessed by classes via a booked timetable which is adaptable depending on current need.
Teachers are adept at using their interactive whiteboards as effective teaching tools.
Students are welcome to access the library computers during their break time.
All class iPad sets have restricted internet access and have a suite of apps suitable to each year level.
IT skills are explicitly taught by our specialist IT teacher using iPads and laptops. Each class is timetabled for weekly IT classes.
