​​Management of the Service

The Bundaberg North State School Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) is the Approved Provider of the North Bundaberg After School Hours Care (OSHC) Program. The P&C works closely with the Nominated Supervisor/Coordinator to oversee the management and day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring a high standard of care and support for all children and families.

North Bundaberg After School Hours Care is committed to providing high-quality care and education in accordance with the National Quality Framework, the National Quality Standard and the My Time, Our Place Framework for School Age Care.

Our dedicated team of experienced and qualified educators provides a wide range of engaging and meaningful play and leisure experiences that reflect the individual interests, needs and developmental stages of the children in our care.

We strive to create an inclusive, welcoming and stimulating environment where every child feels safe, secure, valued and supported. The wellbeing, happiness and development of each child are central to our approach, and we aim to foster a sense of belonging, encourage positive relationships and provide opportunities for children to learn, explore, create and have fun.

We warmly welcome families from both the Bundaberg North State School community and the wider community. Our program offers a safe, well-supervised and balanced environment where children can participate in a variety of activities tailored to their individual interests, abilities and needs.

Our Programs

North Bundaberg After School Hours Care offers flexible care options to support the needs of children and their families, including:

Before School Care – providing a positive and relaxed start to the school day.

After School Care – offering opportunities for children to unwind, connect with friends and enjoy engaging activities after school.

Vacation Care – providing fun, enriching and varied experiences for children during school holidays.

Pupil-Free Day Care – ensuring children have access to quality care and engaging activities on designated pupil-free days.

Our goal is to ensure every child feels welcome, included and cared for, while providing families with confidence and peace of mind knowing their children are in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment.

Session Hours:

• BSC: 6.30am to 8.30am (2hr session)
• ASC: 3.00pm to 6.00pm (3hr session)
• VC: 6.30am to 6.00pm (11.5hr session)
• PFDAY: 6.30am to 6.00pm. (11.5hr session)
  

Cost of attending:

• BSC: $25.00
• ASC: $30.00
• VC & PFDAY: $60.00 with additional costs on excursion days.
  

We also offer Government subsidies:

Have you applied for Childcare subsidy (CCS)?

• Please make sure that you have applied for your CCS entitlements from the Government before you enrol your child/children

CCS is:

• CCS aims to assist families with the cost of childcare.
